Brave, to the point of Foolhardiness

Spaatz- Fearless to a fault
Good ole Spaatz, we let the dogs out the other night without taking inventory of the backyard, and wouldn't you know not only was there a bunny but three deer back there. Of course Spaatz took it apon himself to rid the area of said creatures. The bunny was not what was of concern. It was the deer. So he went bounding out there, kinda like Pepe' le pew. Bouncing a lot, the terrain isn't real smooth. The bunny scattered quickly, but the deer needed a little more convincing. Fortunately none of them were inclined to stand their ground against such a formidable creature. So Spaatz has kept the yard safe from foliage eaters for another day.

Its Almost Funny I have to take "Doxycycline", Almost

Spaatzen, Foozie and Miss Peaches
I do try to keep my sense of humor about things. You have to. So I was away at the hospital last weekend. Long story short (haha) I had a skin infection from a tick bite they think, needed intravienous antibiotics because it was getting out of hand. Doing much better so I am out, but still on Doxycycline for a couple of weeks. How appropriate. I have lived here for 12 years, this is the 3rd bite I've gotten, the other two no problems. I think this was one of those ones that were the size of a spec of glitter. I don't blame the dogs, I could have easily gotten it while gardening or just hanging out in the yard. I missed my constant companions whilst in the hospital, but were all very happily togther again.
