Do your Dachshunds "Skip to my Lou"?

Do your dogs "skip to my Lou"? Both Spaatz and Fooze do. Meaning, they skip using one of their back feet while walking. With Spaatz its the right and Fooze its the left. Miss Peaches does not do this, she does the "double footin". That's another story. You can see Spaatz do this clearly on our morning walk,With Fooze its a little tricky, he's all over the place. He insists on being over the white line and you have to keep pulling him over as we have no sidewalks and not to much shoulder. We are on our way to a farm down the road where we can let them run like crazy. Its like a doggie amusement park. The can't get enough.

EVERYDAY IS A TRIPLE DOG DARE

Everyday is a triple dog dare day here. Of course we wouldn't have it any other way. They dare you to resist them because they know you cannot. Ohh! people will exclaim. Look at the wiener dogs! They are so cute! Look into their brown eyes, or in Spaatz's case you will look at the blue one and next thing you know you will be patting their heads, then its the belly rubs, and all is lost. You are at the mercy of the irresistableness of the long dog know as the dachshund.

Foozie wants to ride the Harley

Foozie might be up for a little daring-do. But first he needs a helmet and goggles. That's what all the cool dogs wear. The other day he rode with dad while he was mowing the grass, so now he thinks he can do it all the time. He was ready to go when he posed for this picture. He will follow dad to the ends of the earth. Mother says safety gear and something to hold onto, so he had to stay home. What a disappointment. He will have to be content to follow dad all around the yard and ride in the truck. Wanted: Riding helmet and goggles for dachshund-size small.
